PITCH WEEK! Protagonists with Passion Projects

May 21 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm EDT

In Coffee Class #57, three screenwriters pitch their films to NYU Film Professor John Warren, Alexie Basil, and Adam Schaller for live feedback! In each, the protagonist has a special passion project. Here are our writers:

~*~ MARIA AND THE NUTCRACKER by Sandra Suarez ~*~

“An insecure dancer must team up with the Nutcracker and his doll kingdom to defeat an evil Mouse King all the while honing her skills to become a Rockette before auditions.”

~*~ NO SOLACE OVER SATURN by Orlando Dabner ~*~

“A group of astronauts are sent to the rings of Saturn to investigate a distress signal that sounds like a Russian nursery rhyme.”

~*~ BEADS by Clara Savelli ~*~

“Julia's life turns upside down when she is forced by her family to take the university admissions exams, but the only thing that she wants is to work with her handmade notebook/stationary company.”
